West Brom's James Morrison has been checking in on Tammer Bany so the 22-year-old 'feels the love', with the attacker back in training after thigh surgery.

According to ExpressAndStar.com, the attacking midfielder’s first year at The Hawthorns has stuttered since a £3.3million move from Randers in Denmark, yielding five substitute outings in 13 months and only one this season.

He featured in pre-season before pulling up against Dynamo Kyiv in Austria, then had his only club minutes this term in stoppage time of the 3-1 defeat at QPR on the sixth of December.

Surgery was confirmed at the end of December and Bany is now eager to impress. Morrison said: “Tammer's very keen.” He added: “I think for him he just wants to get back onto the pitch and show what he can do.”

He considers the midfielder a day-to-day case, dependent on how he trains. Bany will not feature at Blackburn on Monday and it remains to be seen if he makes the squad for high-flying Millwall next Friday night.

Morrison said injuries can leave a young player lonely and even embarrassed, and that he wants Bany to feel supported as he looks to help on the pitch.

Bany declared for Jordan earlier this season, has played more for them than for Albion, and could be the club’s sole World Cup representative in the United States, Canada and Mexico if fit. He could still play a part for the Baggies this season.
