Modibodi is a sanitary brand, which has ‘world-first leak-proof protection designed to absorb period blood and sweat and odour’.

The brand deal still lacks details such as pricing and duration. What we do know is that Modibodi will be displayed on player kits, stadium advertising and all other West Ham platforms from the 2025/26 season.

The Hammers are keen to raise awareness about everyday feminine issues in the women’s game.

Head of Partnerships with West Ham United, Rebecca Rowley, spoke about the positive partnership with Modibodi.

“From the initial conversations with Modibodi, we have been truly inspired by their commitment to creating positive change and removing restraints that have long held back women and girls in sport.

“Coupled with their high-quality products, this partnership will drive true step-change in the industry. We’re proud to provide a platform to amplify Modibodi’s message of empowerment, in football and beyond.”

West Ham proud to be raising awareness

This isn’t the first time that West Ham women have raised awareness around everyday female issues in sport.

The Hammers were one of the first teams to transition away from wearing white coloured shorts for their women’s team.

West Ham’s Executive Director, Nathan Thompson, discussed the Mobibodi partnership as part of a groundbreaking mission to be proud of.

“We are delighted to announce this first-of-a-kind partnership, which will see West Ham United Women become the first WSL team to have a period-proof underwear partner with an on-kit presence.” Thompson said. “This is a partnership we are extremely proud of. At West Ham United, we are always looking to create meaningful and impactful partnerships. By partnering with Modibodi, not only are we delivering an industry first, but we are finding an innovative way to support their goal to remove barriers to sport and exercise for women and girls.”

West Ham finished ninth in the WSL last season but after a busy summer window, they will be hoping for a much better season in 2025/26.
