As January approaches, Roma’s transfer window heats up, with the club not only looking at incoming opportunities but also carefully evaluating potential departures.
Massara is working to accommodate Gian Piero Gasperini’s requests and strengthen the team’s attack.
However, not all of the players in the squad appear to fit the coach’s plans, starting with Dovbyk. The Ukrainian striker hasn’t entirely convinced Gasperini.
Despite his potential, Dovbyk hasn’t found the consistency needed to establish himself, and it seems Roma is ready to consider his sale.
As Orazio Accomando of Sport Mediaset reports, West Ham are considering the purchase of Dovbyk, especially in light of the possible departure of Niklas Fullkrug, who could move to AC Milan.
While nothing is certain at the moment, the English club’s interest could open the door to a deal. The Ukrainian striker has been injured for a month and is unlikely to be available for the match against Juventus.
Ahead of January, the Giallorossi are tracking Zirkzee and Raspadori, so it’s likely someone will be sacrificed to make room for them.
