West Ham have not given up on Yann Bisseck, as they are reportedly determined to make a fresh attempt to sign the Inter defender next summer.

The Hammers had already made an approach last year, but their initial bid was turned down by the Nerazzurri.

After a debut season at San Siro in which he showed flashes of his potential, the German centre-back has grown from a back-up option into a trusted alternative in Inter’s back-three. His 23 starts across Serie A and the Champions League are a clear sign of the faith Simone Inzaghi has placed in him.

Despite some inconsistency, Bisseck’s promising displays have not gone unnoticed. According to Footmercato, West Ham are still closely monitoring the defender and are ready to step up their pursuit with a concrete offer.

However, Inter are unlikely to entertain negotiations for less than €40m, as the defender’s valuation has risen alongside his performances.

Such a fee would make the 24-year-old a particularly profitable sale for the Nerazzurri, who signed him from Danish side Aarhus GF in the summer of 2023 for just €7m.
