West Ham United are in concrete talks to sign Hull City goalkeeper Ivor Pandur, according to Sky Sports journalist Ben Heckner.

Italian outlet TuttoMercatoWeb initially broke the news yesterday.

The Hammers want a new goalie at the London Stadium despite signing Mads Hermansen from Leicester City a few weeks ago.

Hermansen has conceded eight goals in two Premier League appearances for West Ham, with Chelsea scoring three times from corners in their 5-1 victory last weekend.

Pandur has been identified as a target, and the 25-year-old could be an upgrade on the former Foxes star.

The Croatian was named Hull City Player of the Year, Players’ Player of the Year and Supporters’ Player of the Year after an incredible 2024-25 individual campaign.

He will fancy his chances of hitting the ground running in the Premier League, and West Ham manager Graham Potter will be desperate to have him available against Nottingham Forest on Sunday.

The Hammers boss deployed Alphonse Areola in goal against Wolverhampton Wanderers in the second round of the League Cup on Tuesday night.

However, the Frenchman did little to prove that he should reclaim his spot in the starting XI for Premier League matches.
