WSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official club press release from The Hammers this evening.
West Ham United signed Denton back in the January 2023 transfer window. The player joined the East Londoners for a second spell after previous turning out for the club in 2021 whilst on loan from Arsenal. Since moving to The Chigwell Construction Stadium on a permanent basis, Denton’s West Ham United career has gone from strength-to-strength. The defender has made 23 appearances for the club in the Barclays Women’s Super League in total, scoring two goals. Denton has been an ever-present for The Hammers in league competition this season.
After opting to extend her contract at West Ham United for the long-term, Denton said “It feels amazing to have signed a new contract at West Ham. I have loved my time at the Club so far. I feel like I have matured and developed over the last couple of years and feel really settled here.
“I’m grateful to the Club for the belief and support they have shown me. I’m loving my football and playing alongside this group of girls, and I’m excited for what’s to come moving forwards.”
West Ham United are scheduled to return to action following the Christmas break when they play host to Liverpool in the Adobe Women’s FA Cup fourth round on Sunday afternoon.
