West Ham United defender Tysiak joins 1. FC Union Berlin

The Iron Ones confirmed the news via a post on their official club website this morning.
It is understood that 1. FC Union Berlin have paid an undisclosed fee to secure the 25-year-old centre-back’s services.
Tysiak has spent the last three years with West Ham United after joining the club from Oud-Heverlee Leuven. The Belgian international has gone on to make 58 appearances for The Hammers in all competitions in which she has scored four goals. She has helped West Ham United remain competitive in the Barclays Women’s Super League.
After signing for 1. FC Union Berlin, Tysiak said “Union have made enormous strides in women’s football in Germany in recent years. After talks with the club officials, it quickly became clear to me that I wanted to be part of this development. I’m looking forward to Berlin, the stadium, the fans and of course, playing with Hannah [Eurlings] again.”
Tysiak joins a 1. FC Union Berlin side that currently occupy ninth position in the Google Pixel Frauen-Bundesliga table. She could make her debut for the club when they face Bayer 04 Leverkusen in a home fixture on Friday 23 January 2026.
