The Hammers announced details of the arrangement via a post on their official club website earlier today.
The 21-year-old England youth international midfielder joined West Ham United from Portuguese Liga BPI side Estoril last summer. Brasero made 12 appearances for The Hammers in all competitions last season, scoring two goals.
Brasero needs regular game time to continue her development, however, she cannot be guaranteed minutes at West Ham United in the upcoming season. She will therefore build her experience in the Spanish top flight with Deportivo Alavés in the 2026/2027 campaign.
The youngster joins a Deportivo Alavés side that were promoted to the top tier at the end of last season. The club finished runners-up in the Reto Iberdrola and therefore claimed their place amongst Spanish football’s elite in 2026/2027. They will be hoping to settle into their new league without too many difficulties.
Brasero is one of three players to have left West Ham United today. Teammates Jessie Stapleton and Jess Ziu have departed for Barclays WSL2 club Leicester City on a permanent basis. The pair have signed multi-year deals with the East Midlands side.
