West Ham United have been urged to cash in on defender Max Kilman, amid interest from Ipswich Town.
West Ham United are set for an extremely busy couple of months as they try and rebuild their squad ahead of returning to the Championship for the first time in well over a decade.
There has been a bit of change in the hierarchy at the London Stadium but manager Nuno Espirito Santo did confirm that he would stay on to see them into the second-tier.
The former Nottingham Forest and Tottenham Hotspur boss won the Championship title with Wolverhampton Wanderers in the 2017-18 campaign and he will be aiming to replicate that this season with the demands of The Hammers.
West Ham have seen themselves linked with plenty of players this summer, such as Dylan Lawlor of Cardiff City and Amario Cozier-Duberry of Brighton and Hove Albion, but outgoings are also something that have been much discussed.
A potential outgoing comes in the centre of their defence with reports suggesting that Ipswich Town are interested in former Wolves man Max Kilman.

Having come through the academies of Fulham and Gillingham before spending time at Welling United, Marlow and Maidenhead United in non-league, Max Kilman joined Wolves in 2018.
He went on to break into the first-team under Nuno before becoming a key man after Nuno’s departure and under the management of Bruno Lage, eventually skippering the team before being sold to West Ham for a fee believed to be in the region of £40 million.
After playing in every Premier League game in the 2024-25 season, Kilman dropped down the pecking order this season and his reputation among West Ham fans is low – which is why FLW’s West Ham Fan Pundit Ryan Horn believes he should be moved on this summer, amid The Tractor Boys’ apparent interest.
Ryan told FLW: “I don’t know why Ipswich are interested in him - I’m glad that they are.
“I think a move is needed for him. £40 million was... I don’t know. That signing was probably one of the worst signings, for money spent, in recent memory in my opinion.
“I don’t think that, even if he could do it in the Championship, he should stay at the club. I think too much damage has been done in the last two seasons for Kilman.”

Naturally, the summer transfer window is set to be headlined by the potential departures of West Ham’s eye-catching big names, such as Mateus Fernandes, Jarrod Bowen and Crysencio Summerville.
However, there is a lot more work to be done than just that after the departures of Lukasz Fabianski, Adama Traore and Callum Wilson on free transfers.
As well as that, defender Axel Disasi has returned to parent club Chelsea with fellow centre-backs Konstantinos Mavropanos and Jean-Clair Todibo reportedly pushing for a move away.
If Mavropanos and Todibo were to leave, Kilman would be the only first-team centre-back in Nuno’s squad and so his departure could see The Irons require an entirely new group of centre-backs, rather than just one or two.
Aside from Cardiff centre-back Lawlor, they have also been linked with a move for Adam Webster, who is a free agent after the expiry of his contract at Brighton and Hove Albion.
With so much work now seemingly needed to be done on the squad, West Ham could do with their transfer activity picking up the pace as pre-season draws near.
