West Ham winger Crysencio Summerville completes Al-Hilal move | OneFootball

Al-Hilal have completed the signing of Crysencio Summerville from West Ham in a deal worth £60 million, with the Dutch winger putting pen to paper on a four-year contract.

The Saudi Pro League side will pay an initial £55m, with a further £5m in potential add-ons, after identifying the 24-year-old as one of their priority targets this summer. Summerville completed his medical in Amsterdam before the transfer was finalised.

The Netherlands international attracted interest from several European clubs but opted to continue his career in Saudi Arabia.

Summerville leaves West Ham after two seasons at the London Stadium, where he scored eight goals in 56 appearances. Despite enjoying a strong spell in front of goal midway through last season, he was unable to prevent the Hammers from suffering relegation from the Premier League.

The winger also featured for the Netherlands at the recent World Cup, scoring against Japan and Sweden during the group stage. His departure further boosts West Ham's transfer funds following Mateus Fernandes' £85m move to Tottenham earlier this summer.
