Artem Dovbyk hasn’t had the easiest of times at Roma. On paper, he should be unsellable, but things could change if a suitable offer were to arrive. Here is where Napoli stand in relation to the Ukrainian centre-forward.
Napoli have returned to the transfer market to search for a new centre-forward to replace the injured Romelu Lukaku, who will miss three to four months at the start of the 2025-26 season.
Napoli have been linked with a move for Dovbyk as a result, however, he is and always has been considered a Plan B for the Partenopei.

But, to clear some things up, a stop needs to be put to the rumours that Napoli could make a six-year, three-million salary offer. They have not made any offer of the sort and will only potentially focus on Dovbyk if there are major complications in their pursuit of their no.1 target, Rasmus Hojlund from Manchester United.
For Roma, meanwhile, it would take an enticing offer, and an outright purchase rather than a loan with an option to buy, if they are to part ways with Dovbyk after just one season at the Stadio Olimpico.
