Enzo Maresca has had his say on his both Alejandro Garnacho and Jamie Gittens ahead of Chelsea’s game against Tottenham.
The Blues head to north London on Saturday looking to return to winning ways in the league having lost to Sunderland last weekend.
Chelsea responded with a win in midweek against Wolves in the Carabao Cup, but the pressure is on to win against Thomas Frank’s men.
Maresca made ten changes to the side for the trip to Wolves, and he’s likely to make changes again against Tottenham.
One area where there’s always a decision to make is on the wings, with Estevao and Gittens starting and impressing in midweek.

Gittens scored a brilliant goal and registered two assists in a man of the match performance, with Estevao also scoring, whilst Garancho was left out of the squad entirely.
It’s very likely Maresca will start Pedro Neto, meaning the other spot will go to either Estevao, Garnacho or Gittens, and the Italian has had his say on the two summer signings.
“They are both adapting to our the way we work every day,” Maresca told his pre-match press conference.
“They are both doing well. This is what we want from our wingers, you know, score goals and assist and it’s good to have both doing well so we can choose one or the other one.”
Maresca has admitted he’s been impressed with Garnacho’s performances so far, but Gittens has really upped his level in recent matches against Ajax and Wolves.
Whilst Garnacho needs to do more, and Gittens has picked up in recent games, Estevao is overshadowing both of them.
The 18-year-old has hit the ground running, and made a bigger impact than many would have expected at the start of the campaign.
