Chelsea’s run to winning the Club World Cup capped off a long but successful season for the Blues.

They also made it all the way to the Conference League final last season, winning the trophy by beating Real Betis in Poland.

Enzo Maresca’s careful squad management has ensured his player’s minutes have been limited, but the nature of Chelsea’s season means many of his top talents have played a huge amount of football over the past year.

And with the Premier League season set to get underway in a month’s time, Maresca will be hoping those minutes in the legs do not catch up with his side.

Here are the players which have played the most minutes for Chelsea since the start of the season, including their Club World Cup campaign, according to Transfermarkt.

Marc Cucurella – 54 games, 4,346 minutes

The Spaniard has developed into one of Chelsea’s most important players after initially struggling following his move from Brighton.

Cucurella played the most minutes for the Blues of any player last season with more than 72 hours on the pitch, helping Chelsea to qualify for the Champions League and win two trophies from left-back. While his fitness is one of his strong points, it will take a huge effort to continue at his current level with the Blues returning to the elite level of European football next season.

Moises Caicedo – 50 games, 4,289 minutes

Just behind Cucurella was midfielder Caicedo, who was instrumental in Chelsea’s progress last season. The Ecuadorian denied that he is one of the best midfielders in the world but many would disagree.

Cole Palmer – 52 games, 4,247 minutes

Unsurprisingly, Cole Palmer also ranks highly among the Chelsea players with the most minutes played. Even though he was left out of the squad for the Conference League group stages, Palmer’s importance to this Chelsea side meant he regularly played entire games.

Enzo Fernandez – 53 games, 4,020 minutes

Also playing above 4,000 minutes was Enzo Fernandez. The Argentinian has improved since his big money move to Chelsea, contributing 26 goals and assists in all competitions last season, and has become one of Maresca’s most dependable players.

Levi Colwill – 43 games, 3,747 minutes

Colwill was a constant at the back for Blues, regularly playing with a different central defensive partner and providing consistency and leadership for his side. There is no doubt plenty more to come from the young defender.

Pedro Neto – 51 games, 3,385 minutes

Pedro Neto enjoyed a solid first season with the club after moving from Wolves, contributing 18 combined goals and assists and playing the sixth most overall minutes. His defensive work rate was a big plus for his side but could catch up with him, given the amount of football he has played.
