There are some interesting Premier League games going on right now, with high flying Nottingham Forest taking on Newcastle and Manchester United facing Leicester at Old Trafford in their final pre-Ruben Amorim game.
But all of that pales in comparison to the huge match later between Chelsea and Arsenal, which is where Sky’s top team will be. Gary Neville has arrived at Stamford Bridge and gave a quick prediction about what way he thought the game would go.
“I think Arsenal have got to win. I agree with Paul Merson. I won’t say must win but I think they’ve got that mentality to go and win and get back to that point whereby they’re really seen as challengers for the title, which I strongly believe they are,” Neville explained. He was then pressed for a score prediction, and plumped for a continuation of our bad record at home against the Gunners.
“Two one Arsenal, even though I said one one the other day, I’m going to go two one Arsenal.”

We’re sure lots of people will be predicting that score. Chelsea are looking good, Arsenal a little weak, but the momentum and “mentality” that Mikel Arteta has built up makes it hard for neutrals to back against them. Meanwhile Chelsea, for all their impressive moments this season, have yet to beat a really top team.
That’s why today is such an important game for both teams – Arsenal have to prove they’re still up for a title fight, while Chelsea can show they’re not just flat track bullies. While Neville is reluctant to back against Arsenal’s established strength, it doesn’t sound like anyone will be too surprised if the Blues get a result at home.
