Paris Saint-Germain desperately need a win in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday when they travel to Bayern Munich’s Allianz Arena. Moreover, one pundit believes that the Ligue 1 side will need to do everything to contain Harry Kane.
The Parisians are coming off a 2-1 defeat to Atlético de Madrid, which has seriously jeopardized their chances of advancing past the group stage.
With one win, one draw, and two losses so far, PSG find themselves in a tough position. To keep their hopes alive for a spot in the knockout stages in March, Luis Enrique’s side must beat Bayern Munich and win their remaining three group matches.
Bayern Munich has faced difficulties in its last three Champions League matches, giving the capital club reason to be hopeful. The Bundesliga side has lost two of its previous three European games, with their only win being a narrow 1-0 victory over SL Benfica.

On the latest PSG Talk Extra Time podcast, CBS Sports’ Jonathan Johnson notes that Bayern Munich’s attacking players, especially Kane, should scare the Parisians the most.
“I think it’s difficult to look beyond Kane as being sort of the main threat because you know he just scores so many of Bayern’s goals,” Johnson said. “Whether he’s playing for Bayern, whether he’s playing for Spurs, whether he’s playing for England, you know he is always sort of the danger now to keep an eye on.
“I know sort of internationally certainly at the Euros, he wasn’t having, you know, his happiest of spells, but he’s been extremely prolific since arriving in Germany. You know, and he’s a talented goal-getter, you know, when you’re looking at sort of pure striker profiles across European football.
“There are few, you know, better than Harry Kane. He’s definitely in the top three, you know, if not sort of the top, you know, striker at this moment in time, certainly in terms of his form in front of goal, at club level. So I do think that he will be the player, of the PSG, you know, must get to grips with.”
