Paris Saint-Germain kept their unbeaten run in domestic play alive with a 3-1 win over Olympique de Marseille in the latest Le Classique before the FIFA international break. Ousmane Dembele found the net again, continuing his strong form in 2025.
According to Stats du Foot on X, Dembele is the first player since Cristiano Ronaldo in 2018 to score 21 goals in the first three months of a calendar year while playing for a club in one of Europe’s top five leagues.
L’Equipe reports that Dembele is the current favorite for the Ballon d’Or, based on a poll of voters, with 40.9 percent backing the Frenchman.

Luis Enrique was brought in as a key part of PSG’s new project focused on young talent. But according to AS (h/t Le10Sport), the Spanish coach quickly pushed the club’s leadership to sign a star player after arriving. He specifically wanted Ousmane Dembele to join the team in Paris.
Enrique recognized Dembele’s potential and urged PSG to make a move for him, AS reported. The club agreed and triggered the €50 million release clause in Dembele’s contract with Barcelona. The 27-year-old forward took Neymar’s No. 10 jersey and has since become an important piece for PSG.
