France may have to settle for a squad of just 20 players at the U20 World Cup, with the final stage set to take place in Chile starting September 27.
Placed in Group E, Les Bleuets will take on the United States, New Caledonia, and South Africa.
Blocked by his club Paris Saint-Germain, striker Quentin Ndjantou will not be able to compete in the tournament, even though his name was included in the final list submitted by the French Football Federation (FFF).
