Kyle Walker has been officially confirmed as Burnley's new signing and is also the first player to leave following Kevin De Bruyne's departure to Napoli, but there is expected to be a list of departures this summer from the Etihad Stadium.
Kyle Walker left Manchester City after his loan spell with AC Milan ended for just €5 million, ending his successful journey with the Sky Blues with six Premier League titles and one UEFA Champions League title from the 17 official trophies he won with the club.
Kyle Walker's future became clear when he was completely excluded from the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup squad, having previously spent half of last season on loan at Italian giants AC Milan, making it clear that the player is no longer in the club's plans.
The move to Burnley will reunite Kyle Walker with his former Tottenham manager, Scott Parker, and is an exciting step forward for the 35-year-old after representing a number of English clubs including Burnley, Sheffield United, Blackburn Rangers, Manchester City and Tottenham.
As Kyle Walker signs his official contract with Burnley, reports suggest that Manchester City are looking to sign a replacement for Kyle and reports suggest that Newcastle United defender Tino Livramento is the player on Manchester City's radar for the Sky Blues to sign this summer.
