Newcastle United will clash heads with Everton at the Hill Dickinson Stadium on Saturday as they look to secure a good result on the road in the Premier League. The Magpies suffered a 2-1 loss away at Marseille recently, so they would be eager to bounce back with a good result versus the Toffees this weekend.

Eddie Howe will set his side up in a 4-3-3 formation and is expected to make some tweaks to his first XI for this game. Nick Woltemade, Joelinton and Lewis Hall could all play from the start of this contest.

Nick Pope will feature in goal for the Tyneside club after he conceded a couple of goals in his last outing. Malick Thiaw will operate alongside Fabian Schar at the centre of the Newcastle backline as they look to keep a solid shape at the back during the 90 minutes.

Tino Livramento will operate as the right-back, while Lewis Hall looks to prove his worth on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will get the freedom to go forward and express themselves inside the Everton half.

Lewis Miley and Jacob Ramsey will be named on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the second 45 minutes if needed.

Attack

Harvey Barnes will hope to prove his worth on the left flank, while Jacob Murphy looks to prove his worth on the right wing.

Nick Woltemade will lead the charge for the Tyneside club in the final third. He would be eager to make a difference by getting his name on the scoresheet versus Everton this weekend.

Anthony Elanga will be named on the bench as he waits for his chance to make an impact in the latter stages of the game if the Magpies are in need of a goal by then.
