Wolves and Liverpool supporters united at Molineux to honour Diogo Jota during the clubs' first meeting there since his death. According to ExpressAndStar.com, the tribute brought both ends together in a show of respect.
The former Wolves forward, who later signed for Liverpool, died in a car crash alongside his brother Andre Silva last year. His death prompted widespread tributes from both sets of fans.
Jota's wife and children attended the match as banners were displayed and respects paid around the ground.
In the South Bank, Wolves fans unveiled a large banner of Jota and led a minute's applause in the 18th minute, a nod to his Wolves shirt number.
Liverpool supporters then revealed a banner reading 'Forever our number 20', marking the number he wore during his spell with Liverpool.
