Wolves will visit Doncaster for a pre-season friendly at the Eco-Power Stadium on Wednesday, 29 July, kick-off 7.30pm. According to ExpressAndStar.com, Doncaster finished 14th in League One last season and the game comes as the summer programme takes shape under Cesar Peixoto.

Players and staff return to Compton in early July for testing and training, without those still competing at the World Cup. They then head to Portugal for a warm weather camp, with no public matches planned.

There will be no Molineux friendly this summer. The first game with fans is at non-league Maidenhead United on Wednesday, 22 July at 7.30pm. The match was agreed in 2024 when Max Kilman joined West Ham for £40 million and will now take place.

Wolves face Real Sociedad at 5pm on Saturday, 25 July at Walsall's Pallet-Track Bescot Stadium. It was initially scheduled for Tuesday, 28 July but was brought forward after dates with West Midlands neighbours Villa, who are also due to play the Basque club, were switched following changes to the Premier League club's Asia tour.

Doncaster follows in midweek after Sociedad. The final summer fixture with fans in attendance is at SC Heerenveen on Saturday, 1 August at 3pm in the Netherlands.

The Carabao Cup first round falls on the weekend of 7 August. Wolves are ball 32 in the northern section of the draw, which takes place on Thursday at 4.30pm. The full Championship fixture list is released on Thursday at midday.
