Wolves ‘keen on’ Estoril’s Jordan Holsgrove, Reece Smith ‘set for’ Walsall medical | OneFootball

Wolves are interested in Estoril midfielder Jordan Holsgrove and have made an enquiry, with the 26-year-old valued at £3 million, Record reports.

Pete O’Rourke reports that Harrogate winger Reece Smith is having a medical with Walsall and is close to completing a move to Bescot.

Clubs linked with Holsgrove include Charlton Athletic, Werder Bremen, FC Augsburg and Hamburg, with Werder said to be in talks.

Holsgrove scored one in 35 appearances for Estoril in all competitions last season and has previously been with Celta Vigo, Pacos de Ferreira and Olympiacos. He also worked under Wolves boss Cesar Peixoto at Pacos de Ferreira in 2022-23.

Smith missed Harrogate’s friendlies against South Shields and Doncaster Rovers, though manager Simon Weaver said his absence was injury related.

The 24-year-old joined Harrogate in summer 2025 after six years at Maidenhead United, where he scored 23 goals and provided 17 assists in 162 games. He made 52 appearances in last season’s relegation campaign, registering three goals and seven assists.
