ExpressAndStar.com understands that Wolves are reluctant to allow Emmanuel Agbadou to leave on loan this month, though a move could be sanctioned if the terms are right.
The 28-year-old has recently been away with Ivory Coast at the Africa Cup of Nations and is drawing attention from other clubs.
Wolves have already rejected an approach from Besiktas to take the defender on loan.
The Turkish club proposed a fee of about £1.7 million (€2 million) for the loan, with an option to buy set at just under £8.7 million (€10 million), and the bid was swiftly dismissed.
The club are not keen on a simple loan, but could consider an obligation to buy or a permanent sale.
