Kenan Yildiz became Juventus’s youngest ever goalscorer in the Champions League with his opener against PSV on Tuesday night, breaking a long-standing record held by club legend Alessandro Del Piero. Here is a look at the youngest Bianconeri goalscorers in Europe.
Yildiz is almost exactly a year younger than Del Piero was when he scored his first Champions League goal for the Bianconeri. Yildiz was 19 years, four months and 13 days old at the time of his goal on Tuesday.
Del Piero’s record had stood for just over 19 years.
Interestingly, eight of the 10 youngest Juventus goalscorers are still active, and a large chunk of them still play their football in Serie A.
The likes of Moise Kean, Paulo Dybala and Dusan Vlahovic are on the list, as is banned superstar Paul Pogba and current Bianconeri midfielder Weston McKennie.
