Lazio are weighing a move for Sirius winger Isak Bjerkebo as they seek a left-sided understudy to Mattia Zaccagni.
According to The Laziali, the Swedish 23-year-old is being monitored by Lazio, Fiorentina and Parma, and could be considered the right fit in Rome.
Gennaro Gattuso is poised to take charge, pending official confirmation, and has already been at Formello. He has telephoned several players, including Zaccagni, to check availability and mindset for next season.
The club captain has reportedly received an offer from Olympique Marseille but reassured Gattuso of his desire to remain in the capital. Even so, the coach has asked for a new left winger after Pedro’s retirement and Daniel Maldini’s return to Atalanta.
A Malmö academy product, Bjerkebo had spells with Kalmar, Skövde and Varbergs before joining Sirius in March 2025. He is a right-footed attacker who prefers starting on the left and cutting inside.
This season he has made 15 appearances in all competitions, contributing 11 goals and six assists. His Sirius contract runs until December 2029.
Lazio have also moved for relatively low-profile European talent recently, signing Oliver Provstgaard in February 2025 and Adrian Przyborek this winter.
