Ziolkowski comments on his first ever Roma goal: “I hope it’s the first of many. We gave 120% tonight.”

Roma drew in Athens against Panathinaikos and advanced to the Europa League round of 16.
Jan Ziolkowski’s goal earned a 1-1 draw, allowing the Giallorossi to avoid the playoffs.
After the match, the scorer himself spoke to Sky Sport.
The Polish defender commented on his goal: “I’m really happy with this first goal. I hope it’s not the last, but just the beginning. I had some opportunities in the first half and I missed them.”
Ziolkowski explained how his goal against Panathinaikos came about: “I work hard with the coaching staff on heading, and today it went well. A cross came in, and I was in the right place.”
Finally, he commented on the match: “Tonight, we didn’t show our best football; we fought until the end when we were down to ten men. We gave 120% on the pitch, and the fans can be happy.”
