Manchester United welcomed Wolverhampton Wanderers at Old Trafford earlier tonight as they hoped to secure a positive result at home in the Premier League. The Red Devils made a quick start to the game and scored the opening goal in the 27th minute when Joshua Zirkzee got his name on the scoresheet. Ladislav Krejci equalised for the visitors in the 45th minute as the two teams went into the half-time break with a 1-1 scoreline.

Ruben Amorim’s players failed to score the winning goal in the second 45 minutes and had to settle for a lackluster 1-1 draw at the Theatre of Dreams.

LB: Luke Shaw – 7/10

Shaw made some inviting chances for his teammates from the left flank and came back to defend when needed.

CM: Casemiro – 7/10

He was a positive influence at both ends of the field.

CM: Manuel Ugarte – 6.5/10

Ugarte earned the ball back a couple of times but struggled to influence the game in the final third.

RW: Patrick Dorgu – 6.5/10

He made two decent chances up top but failed to register a goal.

CAM: Joshua Zirkzee – 7.5/10

Zirkzee was a real menace in the final third and scored the opening goal in the 27th minute.

LW: Matheus Cunha – 6/10

His impact on the game was minimal. Cunha was fortunate to play the whole game.

He was not shy of having a strike at goal, but failed to take his chances.
