Kicker reports that Borussia Dortmund have identified Hertha midfielder Kennet Eichhorn as a leading target for the summer window.

The highly rated 16-year-old is also on the radar of several major European clubs.

Even so, industry insiders cited in the report believe Dortmund have a decent chance, with the player not keen on moving abroad.

Dortmund are virtually certain to reach next season’s Champions League, unlike rivals such as Bayer Leverkusen or RB Leipzig, which could aid their push.

There is said to be a release clause of around €12 million in Eichhorn’s contract.
