Derby County are likely to have further additions after completing the signing of Bobby Clark
Derby County have made a start to their transfer business already with the addition of Bobby Clark on a permanent basis.
The midfielder spent last season on loan at Pride Park, where he cemented himself as a key part of John Eustace’s first team squad.
The Rams agreed a fee worth £6 million to keep the former Liverpool player at the club ahead of the new campaign.
The 21-year-old made 42 appearances in the Championship last season, contributing three goals and three assists.
But his arrival certainly won’t be all the transfer activity at the Derbyshire outfit between now and 1 September.
Here we look at two players who could follow Clark to Derby between now and the end of the summer window…

Reyes Cleary was a standout performer for Barnsley in League One last season, even with the team struggling for consistent results.
The forward notched seven goals and 13 assists, with the Tykes finishing 15th in the table and 16 points adrift of the play-offs.
No player in Conor Hourihane’s side contributed to more goals, and he showed he can be a threat both by creating and finishing his own chances.
It was exclusively revealed by FLW that Derby are one of the clubs interested in his signature.
While they face competition from the likes of Bristol City, a move to Pride Park would certainly be appealing.
Working under a coach like Eustace could help develop his game even further, and he would fill a role in the side that needs strengthening this summer.
Derby did invest heavily in their attack last year, but the left flank remains a weak point in the side, and Cleary could be an ideal solution.
The 22-year-old is also capable of playing through the middle, which provides extra cover in that area, and that could prove quite useful with Patrick Agyemang out for the next several months.

Jamie Allen is a free agent after being released by Coventry City in the aftermath of their Championship title victory.
The midfielder struggled for consistent game time with the Sky Blues last year, but he still made 23 appearances as Frank Lampard’s side clinched automatic promotion.
The 31-year-old has bags of experience at this level, and knows what it takes to compete to a promotion standard.
Given Allen is now a free agent, he could be a shrewd move to provide strength in depth to Eustace’s squad.
It was exclusively revealed by FLW that the midfielder is on Derby’s shortlist, although they face competition from QPR.
While he hasn’t been able to come with Coventry to the Premier League, there’s no doubt that he still has plenty to offer any club in the second tier.
The Rams have options like Lewis Travis and now Clark to choose from, but the exit of David Ozoh with the end of his loan spell could open up space in midfield for another option.
Allen has made 191 appearances in the Championship over the course of his career, and someone with that level of experience could prove a smart addition to the squad as Derby eye another promotion push next season.
