MIAMI – The 2025/26 Concacaf W Qualifiers will kick off on November 27, with 29 national teams looking to secure first place in their respective groups and the accompanying berth to the 2026 Concacaf W Championship.

29 National teams

The 2025/26 Concacaf W Qualifiers will feature 29 nations split into six groups competing for first place. The six group winners will advance to 2026 Concacaf W Championship.

Group A: Mexico, Puerto Rico, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, U.S. Virgin Islands Group B: Jamaica, Guyana, Nicaragua, Dominica, Antigua and Barbuda Group C: Costa Rica, Guatemala, Bermuda, Grenada, Cayman Islands Group D: Haiti, Dominican Republic, Suriname, Belize, Anguilla Group E: Panama, Cuba, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Curaçao, Aruba Group F: Trinidad and Tobago, El Salvador, Honduras, Barbados

Highest-Ranked nations receive byes

The United States and Canada will not take part in the W Qualifiers. As the two highest-ranked teams of the confederation, the nations have earned direct qualification to the 2026 Concacaf W Championship.

Eighth edition

The 2025/26 Concacaf W Qualifiers will be the eighth edition of the qualification tournament. The first edition of the competition was held in 1998, the year prior to the FIFA Women’s World Cup USA 1999.

Two participants in all editions

Costa Rica and Trinidad and Tobago are the only national teams that have participated in all editions of the Concacaf W Qualifiers, competing in the tournament since 1998.

Path to FIFA Women’s World Cup Brazil 2027 and LA 2028

At the conclusion of the Concacaf W Qualifiers, the six group winners will join the United States and Canada, the two highest-ranked teams, in the 2026 Concacaf W Championship.

The Concacaf W Championship will be played in November 2026 and serve as the Confederation’s qualifier for the FIFA Women’s World Cup Brazil 2027 and the LA 2028 Summer Olympics.
