2026 World Cup: DR Congo learns fate, full playoff draw revealed

Following Thursday's draw ceremony, the matchups for the 2026 World Cup playoffs set for next March have been unveiled.
After a double draw held at FIFA headquarters in Zurich on Thursday, the two semi-finals of the playoff tournament are now set. New Caledonia will take on Jamaica in the semi-final, with the winner facing DR Congo in the final for a spot at the World Cup. Bolivia will battle Suriname, with the victor going on to face Iraq for a place on football's biggest stage. This playoff tournament will take place in Mexico, across Guadalajara and Monterrey, from March 23 to 31, 2026.
