Algerian international Mohamed Amoura snatched, right at the wire, the honorary title of top scorer in the African qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup.
With a brace in the final qualification match against Uganda, the VfL Wolfsburg striker overtook Egyptian international Mohamed Salah, who had been leading the chart with 9 goals.
An outstanding display from Amoura, who is establishing himself as a true gem of the Algerian squad, alongside Youcef Belaïli and Baghdad Bounedjah.
