Several FC Barcelona players are currently away from the club as they are training and playing with their respective national teams. Meanwhile, those who have not been called up by their national sides during this break, trained under Hansi Flick till Thursday, and have been enjoying a rest since then.

However, one player who was still at the Ciutat Esportiva on Friday was the midfielder Marc Casado. The midfielder is currently recovering from an adductor injury that he suffered in the warm-up ahead of the Celta Vigo game, and although there is optimism about his situation at the Catalan club, Mundo Deportivo notes that he has still not been able to train with his teammates this past week.

The 22-year-old Spaniard has been working in the gym to regain his physical fitness and to be ready in time for the match against Athletic Club after the November international break. His availability for this match could be crucial for Hansi Flick, as Pedri is still recovering from his own physical problem, and Frenkie de Jong is suspended for that game.

Marc Bernal, the only natural defensive midfielder available for this match, also trained on Friday, and he is also expected to play in the game between Catalonia and Palestine on Tuesday. Hopefully, this match will allow him to get closer to his best level, and Marc Casado will also be able to recover in time for the upcoming Barcelona game.
