The 24-year-old joined Killie on a short term deal earlier this season following a serious knee injury to Djenairo Daniels, and has now agreed to remain at Rugby Park beyond the initial arrangement.

John-Jules has scored twice in 11 appearances since arriving, with the club enduring a difficult run of results that has seen him yet to register a win.

Released by Arsenal in the summer of 2024 after 15 years at the club, having progressed through the academy without making a senior competitive appearance, John-Jules went on to sign a one-year deal with Crawley Town in League One, where he struggled for goals as the club were relegated, and was released again at the end of the season without scoring in 27 appearances.

After becoming a free agent, John-Jules spent time back at London Colney training with Arsenal’s Under 21s and briefly with the first team group to regain fitness.

He joined Kilmarnock in October on a short term contract, a move pitched as an opportunity to relaunch his career after four months without a club.

The decision to extend his stay reflects both his contribution since arriving and Kilmarnock’s need for continuity in attack as they attempt to climb away from trouble in the second half of the season. They currently sit 11th, four points above the bottom side, Livingston in the Scottish Premiership.
