Leeds United supporters are heading to Wembley in their thousands for today’s FA Cup semi-final against Chelsea, departing from Elland Road this morning.

As reported by yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, this is Leeds’ first appearance in the competition’s semi-finals since 1987. The winners will meet Manchester City in the Wembley final on Saturday, May 16.

A gallery of 28 images by YEP photographer Steve Riding charts the journey from Elland Road to Wembley, capturing early queues and supporters boarding official coaches.

Among those pictured are Martin and Ella Collinson, plus Finley and Danika Arthiur and Brendan Burke, who have travelled from Ireland.
