These three players should sign for Norwich City alongside Anthony Musaba this summer
Norwich City are reportedly closing in on their Ali Ahmed replacement for the year, as former Sheffield Wednesday man Anthony Musaba is set to join on loan from Fenerbahçe.
Philippe Clement's side were unfortunately in need of a wide addition this summer, following the season-ending ACL injury Ahmed picked up in pre-season, and Musaba looks to be the answer, according to Pete O'Rourke.
The 25-year-old was one of the many players who departed Sheffield Wednesday last summer amidst late wage payments and general disarray at Hillsborough in the final months of Dejphon Chansiri's reign as owner. He netted 10 and assisted 11 in 72 second-tier appearances in South Yorkshire.
He's set to return to the Championship this summer, helping bolster a Norwich side that fell to defeat on the opening day in a tightly contested matchup with West Brom at Carrow Road.
Despite Phillipe Clement's squad already being stacked with quality, here are three players who could follow Musaba to Norfolk before the end of the transfer window.

Harry Whitwell lined up for West Brom against Norwich on opening day, following up his EFL Cup exploits against Rotherham United with another solid performance against top Championship opposition.
His contract situation at the Hawthorns is still yet to be resolved, though, and as it stands, the exciting 20-year-old will be a free agent next summer. If a new deal isn't agreed, there may be pressure to sell to maximise the profit the Baggies can receive for their academy star.
Norwich have been waiting in the wings for around a week, and they'll be ready to pounce if Whitwell's future is still up in the air come September 1.
The 20-year-old would provide quality backup to Andre Brooks on the right, while also being able to slot in behind the striker, too. That versatility would be optimal for a Philippe Clement side.

The move for Musaba may mean a potential switch for Sam Edozie ends up being off the cards, but the Southampton squad player should definitely be someone that Norwich still keep tabs on between now and September 1.
Edozie should be expected to leave St Mary's this summer, especially with the Saints strengthening across the frontline throughout the window, which would leave the 23-year-old even further down the pecking order.
And, in the right environment, there's no doubting that the former Manchester City youth prospect will be able to recapture some of the potential that made Southampton spend up to £10 million for his services four years ago.
Like Whitwell, Edozie can play numerous positions across the frontline, mainly off the left, though, and could battle Musaba for the position, with it still very much up for grabs following Ahmed's injury.

Augustine Boakye is coming off a brilliant campaign in Ligue 2 with Saint-Etienne, scoring six and assisting nine in all competitions.
It earned him a call-up to the Ghanaian squad for the World Cup this past summer, and has led to Championship interest, too, with Foot Marcato reporting that Norwich and Wrexham are rivalling Belgian outfit Anderlecht for his services.
The attacking midfielder was deemed good enough to play top-flight football in France a couple of seasons ago, following a campaign where he registered 19 goal involvements for Austrian side Wolfsberger in 2023/24.
Norwich have an emerging core of attacking midfield talent, but with Oscar Schwartau able to play off either wing, having a more natural number 10, who is able to make an impact right now, could be vital in helping the Canaries maintain a promotion-challenging level throughout a long campaign.
