Look back on our first three workshops

Because we want to take the football of tomorrow to the next level not only on the pitch, but also off it, we launched our Photo Talent Programme for the first time this autumn! Following great interest and many impressive applications, a total of 31 up-and-coming talents were selected to participate in three workshops held at our Bundesliga home matches against Rapid, Altach and Ried. These participants had the opportunity to immerse themselves in the daily work of professional sports photography. Photographers from all over Austria, as well as some from Germany and Italy, took part in our programme.

Equipped with accreditation and professional equipment, and under the mentoring and coaching of our club photographers, the young talents got straight to work after a joint briefing – from the team locker room to the sidelines, they had the opportunity to capture their own snapshots. It didn't finish on the final whistle either, as they immediately began selecting and evaluating the newly taken photos together. A total of 750 photos were taken during the three workshops, of which nearly 150 were analysed in detail together with our club photographers.

We thank everyone for their great interest, passion and the valuable exchanges, and we look forward to welcoming some of these talented photographers back to the sidelines for future projects.
