5️⃣ spicy fixtures you must watch this weekend 🌶

Fulham vs Crystal Palace (FA Cup)

Is this the most intriguing FA Cup quarter-final lineup ever?

Just one of the remaining eight teams has won the FA Cup in the last 66 years and, while Manchester City remain favourites, the prospect of a rare winner is alive.

Fulham and Crystal Palace meet in a London derby with plenty of the line this weekend, two teams who are dreaming of a first ever major trophy. Fulham have impressed in the Premier League to climb into the European race, with the Cottagers above Aston Villa, Tottenham and Manchester United as things stand.

Palace, meanwhile, have found form after a tricky start. The Eagles have won six of their last eight in the league, including a 2-0 win at Fulham last month. A place at Wembley is at stake.

Bournemouth vs Manchester City (FA Cup)

Bournemouth welcome Manchester City to the south coast in another fascinating FA Cup quarter-final match-up.

The Cherries have never previously reached the semi-finals of the competition, but are in the midst of an impressive campaign under Andoni Iraola. With a record Premier League points total almost certain and a potential place in Europe, Bournemouth have exceeded all expectations.

A clash with Manchester City will hold no fear for the Cherries, who beat the Premier League champions at the Vitality Stadium in November. A repeat of that result will take them to Wembley.

Besiktas vs Galatasaray

Expect fireworks when Bestikas and Galatasaray meet in Istanbul this weekend.

The Turkish teams collide in a local grudge match, with the visitors aiming to take another step closer to the Süper Lig title. Galatasaray are unbeaten in the league this season and chasing an ‘Invincible’ campaign under Okan Buruk.

The league leaders have lost just one domestic game all season, against Besiktas in the Turkish Super Cup back August. Incredibly, Besiktas ran out 5-0 winners that day, but now lag 27 points behind Galatasaray in the table.

PSV vs Ajax

There’s a potential title decider in the Eredivisie this weekend as the top two go head-to-head at The Philips Stadion.

PSV’s title defence is in danger ahead of the clash with the champions having fallen six points behind Ajax. Peter Bosz’s side endured a four-game winless run through February and March, but have since regrouped with consecutive wins.

Ajax, in contrast, are in red-hot form. The Amsterdam outfit have won 10 and drawn one of their last 11 games to take control of the title race. Another win this weekend will move them within touching distance of a record-extending 37th Dutch crown.

Napoli vs AC Milan

Napoli need to rediscover their form ahead of a crucial clash with AC Milan this weekend.

Antonio Conte’s charges have won just one of their last seven in Serie A, but remain just three points behind leaders Inter Milan. Napoli can not afford another slip, and their run-in looks favourable. After meetings with Milan and Bologna next, Napoli do not take on another team in the current top half.

However, Milan are unbeaten in their last six games at Stadio Diego Armando Maradona in competitions, including a clash in the 2023 Champions League quarter-finals.
