€50m offer could send ELITE talent to Liverpool

A €50m offer could well see a truly elite talent join Liverpool. The transfer window is now open, of course.

Liverpool will address their winger situation this month now that the transfer window is open. Though, that doesn’t necessarily mean anyone arrives.

The Reds are notoriously picky, after all, and only sign players they truly believe in. If such a player isn’t available, they’d rather sign no one.

But their decision to sell Luis Diaz without a replacement has come back to bite them. As has their lack of any long-term successor to Mo Salah.

In short, Liverpool just haven’t been dynamic enough on the wing. It’s been a real problem as they look to stretch teams and hurt on the counter-attack.

Teams have realised they don’t have too much to fear in transition from the Reds - the pace just isn’t there. A restructure will surely happen this month, then, and that could begin with one of Europe’s hottest prospects.

Liverpool in for Maghnes Akliouche

Jeunes Footeux are reporting that Liverpool want to sign Maghnes Akliouche and AS Monaco are making preparations for a move. Though, they also report that Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester City, Juventus, and Atletico Madrid are in the race here, too.

But Akliouche is one of the most exciting prospects in Europe right now - if you can even still call him a prospect. The 23-year-old has been a regular starter at AS Monaco for a couple of years now.

His 10 assists last season made everyone stand up and take notice. Now it's thought that he'll be on the move for around €50m.

Monaco are fully aware that they won't hold onto him for much longer. They're trying to push through a move for Moroccan Under 20 World Cup-winner Gessime Yassine as a replacement this month.

Should that deal happen, a January transfer is firmly on the cards for Akliouche. Liverpool are positioned well to make it happen, too, and the young winger may just be what the Reds are looking for.
