Jack Harrison has left the door open to staying at Fiorentina after successive Serie A assists, stressing his future will be decided in due course.

The winger joined on a six-month loan in January, having started only one Premier League game for Leeds all season, a 2-0 defeat at relegation-threatened Burnley. That, plus 10 outings off the bench, yielded no goals or assists.

He has helped Fiorentina improve results, recording three assists in 16 Serie A appearances, including consecutive 1-0 wins over Hellas Verona and Lazio this month. Paolo Vanoli has used him on the right recently, where both assists arrived.

On Monday he set up Robin Gosens with a floated cross in the 28th minute of a 1-0 home win against Lazio, the same night parent club Leeds beat Manchester United at Old Trafford.

“I am very happy in Florence, the city is incredible and so is the club. As for the future, any player would obviously be happy to play here. We will see what happens.”

He was speaking to FirenzeViola.

Fiorentina hold an option to make the loan permanent for around £6million.

Harrison could further impress on Thursday when La Viola host Crystal Palace in the Europa Conference League quarter-final second leg, trailing 3-0 after last week’s loss at Selhurst Park.
