Sandro Tonali has two Premier League giants ready to prise him from Newcastle United this summer if he opens the door to a move.
Indeed, both Arsenal and Manchester United are firm admirers of the Magpies’ fan-favourite amid growing speculation he could leave St. James’ Park at the end of the season.

While the player himself has kept tight-lipped on his future, it’s actually his agent who has fuelled speculation by suggesting Tonali might explore a new venture in the event that Newcastle fail to qualify for the Champions League.
Given they sit 12th-placed in the Premier League and 12 points away from fourth-placed Aston Villa heading into matchweek 30, it’s certainly not looking good for their European hopes.
A new report from TeamTalk claims that the 25-year-old, valued at £85 million, is ‘a step closer’ to making a concrete decision on his future. In the meantime, his representative, Giuseppe Riso, was spotted in attendance at the Emirates to watch the Gunners in action recently.
Arsenal were heavily linked with Tonali in the dying embers of the January transfer window, with David Ornstein even confirming that his agent offered him to the North London club, but no contact was made with Newcastle, and so nothing materialised.
However, it may suggest that the 30-capped Italian is leaning towards a switch to the current league leaders over any other suitor.
United had first set their sights on Tonali after it was set in stone that Casemiro would be leaving upon the expiration of his contract in June, with his fellow Newcastle star Bruno Guimaraes, who’s said to have been personally endorsed by compatriot Casemiro, also being considered by INEOS.
