Abdellah Zoubir agrees terms with Al-Shahania as Qarabag exit considered | OneFootball

Abdellah Zoubir could leave Azerbaijan for Qatar this summer after agreeing terms with Al-Shahania. L'Équipe reports that the Qarabag winger still needs the conditions of his departure to be finalised.

The Frenchman, 34, helped Qarabag to a surprise Champions League run, before Newcastle eliminated them in the play-offs.

Zoubir remains under contract at Qarabag until June 2027. Al-Shahania play in Qatar’s top flight and are 11th of 12.

He has become one of the greatest players in Qarabag’s history, with 355 appearances, 77 goals and 94 assists.

Any summer move would depend on agreement over his exit terms with Qarabag.
