Abdoul Ouattara is leaving Strasbourg for Ipswich, following Julio Enciso, and will step into the Premier League.

According to L'Équipe, the promoted Suffolk club, now coached by former Racing boss Gary O'Neil, will sign the 20-year-old Ivory Coast U23 international on a five-year contract.

Ouattara has flown to England to finalise the move, mirroring Enciso's switch from Alsace to Ipswich.

A product of Strasbourg's academy, this will be the first transfer of his career.

He had been under contract with the RCSA until June 2029.
