Hungarian set-piece specialist Abel Lorincz is leaving AS Monaco after arriving from Valenciennes at the start of last season. He is expected to join Djurgardens in the Swedish league as an analyst.
AFP first reported his departure, followed by Swedish outlet Sportbladet.
The exit adds to staff turnover, with Frédéric De Boever, Makis Chamalidis and Damien Perrinelle already gone. On Monday the departures of Sébastien Pocognoli and his assistants, Kévin Mirallas and Artur Kopyt, were confirmed.
With Lorincz, Monaco picked up a few points from set pieces, notably against Nice and Manchester City. His influence, however, diminished after the Belgian coach arrived.
Kopyt took charge of attacking set pieces with limited success, leaving Lorincz responsible only for defensive phases. He is understood to have been unhappy with that shift.
