Clarence Seedorf feels that Inter Milan should expect PSG to be “more defensively solid” than Barcelona, but less dangerous in attack.

The legendary former AC Milan, Inter Milan, and Real Madrid midfielder gave his thoughts on the final on Amazon Prime, via FCInterNews.

Inter Milan take on Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League final at the end of this month.

The Neazzurri will know full well that PSG are one of the most formidable teams in Europe.

However, at the same time, Inter have already faced top opposition this season.

Inter drew against Manchester City in the league phase of the Champions League. Then, they secured a memorable win over Arsenal.

In the knockout rounds, meanwhile, Inter beat Bayern Munich over two legs in the quarterfinals.

Then, the Nerazzurri eliminated Barcelona in the last round.

Therefore, Inter will be confident that they do have what it takes to get the better of PSG.

And then, a central question could prove to be what kind of matchup they have with the French champions compared to previous opposition in the competition.

Seedorf Warns Inter: “PSG Defensively More Solid Than Barcelona”

Against Barcelona, Inter’s success came about because they were able to punish some defensive weakness by the Spanish giants. They scored a whopping seven goals over two legs.

However, in the view of former Netherlands international Clarence Seedorf, “PSG are a more solid team in the defensive phase than Barcelona.”

“But they aren’t as dangerous in attack.”

“Furthermore,” Seedorf added, “the French side don’t keep possession the way the Blaugranas do.”

The Dutchman added that “if Inter manage to press well, they’ll be able to find other spaces.”

“The PSG fullacks, and in particular Hakimi on the right, often get caught out of position.”

Then, Seedorf commented that “there’s not need to worry too much.”

“Because Inzaghi has prepared really well for almost every match so far. He’s always found the right way to attack.”

“However, there’s one thing to keep an eye on,” said Seedorf. “Against Barcelona, Inter conceded too much.”

“They did well, but in some situations they could’ve done better.”
