AC Milan teenager Francesco Camarda has refused to rule out a potential transfer to Inter Milan in the future.

Speaking on the YouTube channel Panini Sport Italia via FCInterNews, Camarda revealed his ambitions.

Widely considered among Italy’s brightest prospects, Camarda graduated from the Rossoneri academy in 2023.

Indeed, the young striker made his senior debut for the club in 2023.

Former Milan boss Stefano Pioli used him as a late substitute in a league match against Fiorentina.

In doing so, Pioli helped Camarda become the youngest Serie A debutant ever at 15 years, 260 days of age.

However, after failing to land regular first-team football at San Siro, the 17-year-old joined Lecce on loan last summer.

Despite his lack of experience, Camarda has already made 17 league appearances for the Giallorossi.

Still, he only scored one goal, with Nikola Stulic recently overtaking him in the pecking order.

Camarda is likely to return to base at the end of the current campaign.

However, whether he would stay at Milan next season remains questionable.

Meanwhile, his contract expires in 2028, with Inter emerging as a surprise potential suitor should his situation at Milan take an unexpected turn.

“Would I ever play for Inter? Right now, I’m at Lecce, and I’m focused on Lecce,” Camarda said.

“Then, what will happen, you can never really know. But for now, we’re thinking about this season.”

The talented forward also listed some of his favorite players, including a few former Nerazzurri stars.

“I didn’t have one in particular,” he added. “However, I’ve always looked at Suarez, Ibrahimovic, Ronaldo with different eyes…

“There are so many players you can learn from to keep improving.”
