AC Milan sign Sankhoun Diawara from Troyes on deal to 2031 | OneFootball

AC Milan have signed 20-year-old centre-back Sankhoun Diawara from Troyes on a contract until 2031, with an extra year as an option.

According to L'Équipe, the Rossoneri have paid €2m for the left-footed defender.

Born in Paris and developed in the Aube, Diawara was tried in the Coupe de France before making his Ligue 2 debut in January 2026. He then nailed down a place to play the final 14 league matches of the 2025-2026 season.

Troyes, promoted to Ligue 1 at the end of last season, lose another key figure from their rise but have brought in more than €30m since the transfer window opened.

His departure follows those of Mathys Detourbet to Manchester City and Martin Adeline to Hamburg, as historic European clubs continue to tap Troyes’ talent pool.
