AC Milan and Fiorentina meet at San Siro on Sunday evening for a fascinating Serie A encounter that could see Milan take the top spot in the table if they win.
The Rossoneri aim to continue their strong streak, while La Viola searches desperately for their first league victory of the season.
Massimiliano Allegri faces a tough selection dilemma after the international break, with a string of injuries affecting his squad. Star forward and current top scorer Christian Pulisic has been sidelined after picking up a mild hamstring strain while on international duty with the United States. He is expected to be unavailable for at least the next three fixtures.
Midfielder Adrien Rabiot (calf) and left-back Pervis Estupinan (ankle) are also ruled out, both sustaining knocks while away with their national teams. Meanwhile, Christopher Nkunku remains a major doubt due to a toe issue that continues to trouble him.
There is, however, some relief for the Milan boss. Rafael Leao is in line to feature from the start for the first time in Serie A this season after returning early from international duty and regaining full fitness. Alexis Saelemaekers has also been declared fit but is likely to begin the game among the substitutes.
Possible AC Milan starting XI: Maignan; Tomori, Gabbia, Pavlovic; Athekame, Fofana, Modric, Ricci, Bartesaghi; Loftus-Cheek; Leao.
The match will kick off at 7:45pm BST on Sunday, 19th October.
Fans in the UK can catch the live broadcast of the match on TNT Sports 1 and DAZN.
