Torino, meanwhile, lie in mid-table mediocrity, but that doesn’t mean they can’t hurt the Rossoneri. They took a two-nil lead when these sides met in December but lost 3-2 following a quickfire brace from super sub Christian Pulisic.

AC Milan team news

Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Matteo Gabbia are both expected to miss out through injury, with recent reports listing the pair among those sidelined for several weeks.

Santiago Gimenez is also doubtful as he continues his recovery from ankle surgery, with his return based on a final assessment before the match.

After losing to Lazio last week, Massimiliano Allegri will also be boosted by the return of Adrien Rabiot who served his one-match suspension and is now ready to return.

Ardon Jashari will be making way for Rabiot in the starting XI. Rafael Leao and Christian Pulisic will still retain their places in the squad from the kickoff but Christopher Nkunku and Niclas Fullkrug are also in contention in case Allegri decides to rotate.

Torino team news

Zanos Savva still remains out of the squad with his cruciate ligament injury with no return date confirmed.

Zakaria Aboukhlal is also doubtful after his physical discomfort recently though he is nearing his return.

There are no other new injury concerns or suspension issues within the squad up until now with further information to be given during the pre-match press conference.

Giovanni Simeone continues to lead the line for Torino and is now on seven goals for the season while Nikola Vlasic is on six goals. Both of them will be crucial for their team as Torino looks to climb up the table.

Milan comes into this match after a disappointing defeat against Lazio which is their first away defeat of the season in Serie A. Torino sits 14th in the table with 33 points from 29 matches. Last week, they won convincingly against Parma (4-1). Roberto D’Aversa’s men have picked up six points in their last three outings with the only setback being a 1-2 loss against Napoli.

Predicted lineups
