According to Laimer: Bayern seals its next deal | OneFootball

FC Bayern is currently very busy making personnel decisions. Konrad Laimer extended his contract on Monday, which has already been officially confirmed. Another deal has also been finalized. 

Not only was Laimer at FC Bayern’s offices today to sign a new contract, but so was Erblin Osmani. The 17-year-old midfielder had recently been in intensive talks with the club.

Internally, the club has high hopes for the youngster and wanted to secure his future early on. It appears they’ve now succeeded in doing so.

BILD reporter Nicolas Linner “caught” the young player today as he was leaving the club offices. According to BILD sources, Osmani was there with his family and signed a new contract.

On the day Osmani celebrates his 18th birthday, his professional contract will take effect. Official confirmation from FC Bayern is still pending but is expected shortly.

This marks the next step forward. Securing Osmani for the long term provides stability for both the player and the club. During preseason, Osmani will certainly get the chance to prove himself under Vincent Kompany. This is particularly likely given that many national team players are still absent. He could potentially be included in the squad for the first friendly matches against Wehen Wiesbaden and Rottach-Egern.

Osmani has been playing for FC Bayern for some time now, having joined the record champions in 2017 from the Milbertshofen youth academy. There, he progressed through all the youth divisions, most recently playing first for the U17s and then the U19s. The young player has even made an appearance in the Bundesliga, coming on as a substitute for three minutes during the 4-0 win over Union Berlin on Matchday 27.
